If you're not familiar with David's Farm, this is a place in Canada that vehicles go when they are bad. It's like the island of misfit toys, but for cars. First we saw the redneck ricer, and now he's got his hands on a Toyota Supra. In good condition now, this car will be subject to use and abuse from the likes of Sky Hill, high speed field drag racing, and more than likely a torch or two. What will become of the Toyota Supra? I think this quote from Dave pretty much sums it up. "Alrighty, I guess before we trash it like the rest of the cars..."
The Toyota Supra is...
If the first "Crazy Finns" video wasn't enough, you're going to get a second dose of pure sound rally goodness. Crashing is just as much a part of rally as winning. Not many drivers are willing to tempt the likes of rally, as this clearly divides the men from mice. The difference between rally and track racing is surface predictability. When you race rally, the surface is an ever evolving death trap just waiting for you to slip. On the pavement, it's pretty constant and you can expect what's around the next corner. Sliding blind through corners at speeds in excess...
At the Woodhouse dealership in Texas, a security guard recorded himself hooning a new Corvette ZR1 and acting like a total fob knobber. Ripping the gears, bouncing the rev limiter, and throwing gravel while performing donuts, this guy wins hoon of the year. There's a lot of controversy around this video even though the guy was clearly just having fun, and I'm going to rant about the fact you're all making a mountain out of a mole hill. Some people are even saying that the dealership is pressing charges and he has a warrant for his arrest. WTF? I personally don't see how...
"Surely you can't be serious? I am serious, and don't call me Sherly." This famous quote from the movie Airplane! comes to mind while watching this clip of an all-wheel drive Chevrolet Express van smoke a Corvette ZR1 on the drag strip. Complete with a stock 5.3 liter Vortec V8, stock heads, Corvette Z06 cam, stock intercooler from the Chevrolet trucks, and a 72mm turbo makes this one nasty van that's worthy of the title ultimate. Racing through the quarter mile, the Express smokes the ZR1 off the line and continues the embarrassment all the way to the finish. How is...
During a Cars and Coffee exodus, a beautifully crafted AC Cobra bit the curb. Showing off for the spectators, each vehicle left the parking lot with wide open throttle blips, allowing their motors to breathe the power they possess. Then comes the AC Cobra with just a little bit too much throttle and not enough correction. One wrong move, and the sharp handling roadster dug itself right into the curb. When operating vehicles with such a tight suspension, the driver must be careful not to over correct or an instant failure of epic proportions just might occur; and usually it does.
This isn&...
